Am I Afraid of Even Mentioning Alternative Healing?

I find it so interesting when you share an alternative type of information with people, the wide range of responses you can get.

For the most part I'm pretty quiet about this amazing healing tool simply because I've gotten
sensitive to the reactions I get from folks unwilling to open their eyes to anything other than the American Medical Model.  But when someone is interested, I really light up and get excited to share.

So Tracey, (and everyone else here) wander through this website to gain a bit of info about PSTEC.  There are links to the main page for the free PSTEC download as well as all the other great tools. My suggestion is to try the freebies but once you do, there are so many inexpensive tools that are worth their weight in gold, so don't limit yourself here.

I had also mentioned EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) which is called a Universal Healing Aid and is practiced all over the world.  I have used EFT since 2005 and though I abandoned it for the last few years because of PSTEC, I've taken it up again because of a webinar I heard with Carol Look. Carol is one of my favorite mentors and has tons of great material available to read & listen to.

A great example of the power of EFT (frequently just called tapping), is when you can tap for someone who isnb't interested in trying it because it just seems "too weird".

One of the life guards had a new bug bite that was bothering her but she just wasn't into the idea of trying EFT.  So I tapped on myself, for her, and she completely forgot about the bite on her leg within 2-3 minutes.  The next day when I asked her about it she looked and there was just a tiny mark that remained. She didn't think anything of it because she had basically forgotten that it had even bothered her in the first place.

Hard to get credit for something when the client forgets their troubles so easily, but the implications of such a powerful technique are astounding.  What if every lifeguard knew and practiced these techniques to help overcome the challenges some of their patrons faced; bee stings, traumas, scares, etc.  This seems so much more valuable than offering a band-aid or nothing while waiting for the EMT's to arrive to offer their services, if needed.

I suppose this is my way of saying I need to stop hiding these wonderful tools from those who could use them simply because I am timid of the response of the disinterested.

Both of these tools have made such a powerful addition to my life and the lives of millions who have embraced them.  There are hundreds of stories online to support this, so if I can encourage you to check them out, you may find some helpful allies here.

Blessings and Joy
