Antioxidant World Congress 2015

Want More Evidence that Antioxidants are Important?

The International Society of Antioxidants in Nutrition and Health (ISANH)  and Scientific Committee, are pleased to announce the organization of the 9th World Congress on Polyphenols Applications: Malta Polyphenols 2015, which will be held in Malta, from June 3 to 5, 2015.

The 9th Malta Polyphenols World Congress will bring together experts from academia and industries to debate on the latest scientific advances in the field of polyphenols and their uses to improve human health.

Polyphenols are abundant micronutrients and evidence for their role in the prevention of degenerative diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases is emerging.

The health effects of polyphenols depend on the amount consumed and on their bioavailability.  Phonyphenols are another name for Antioxidants

Dr. Pederson Simplifies Polyphenols in this great little video here.

Distinguished Speakers
Malta Polyphenols Committee discerned 3 awards during ISANH Malta Polyphenols 2015, the world’s largest congress on polyphenols applications, which was held in Malta, 2015.

Pr Marvin Edeas & Dr Miria Ricchetti announced the winner of the Scientific Contribution Award of the 15th World Congress on Oxidative Stress Reduction, Redox Homeostasis & Antioxidants which was held at Institut Pasteur on June 22-23, 2015.

Check Your BMI

How Are You Doing?

Are you stressed by:

  • How We Eat, and How Busy We Are, How We Feel.
  • So now that we are older, we're supposed to take care of our bodies.
  • In America, where change happens so quickly, how do you get the healthy food anymore?
  • & Now we work so hard, then want a treat, but can end up feeling bad about our bodies.

What if we could return you to the Health you had 5 years ago?

What would your body feel like?

You Could Try some Healthy Chocolate, or you could clean, weed, work-out, suffer...
I just like the convenience of eating some yummy dark chocolate with the highest antioxidants on the planet, but that's just me.

Now to Checking your BMI, here is a great blog about that.

BMI, a buzzword some of us didn't know about, but it's important.  These folks put together a great website about your BMI & Body Fat.

They even get the AARP involved, so if you're a boomer, welcome to the club.

ORAC Rich Foods

Food sources

Values are expressed as the sum of the lipid soluble (e.g. carotenoid) and water-soluble (e.g. phenolic) antioxidant fractions (i.e., “total ORAC”) reported as in micromoles trolox equivalents (TE) per 100 gram sample, and are compared to assessments of total polyphenol content in the samples.
These values are considered biologically irrelevant by the EFSA and USDA.[10][3]

Fortify Yourself Against Too Much Medication

You have Got to admit, we are in some
Flying over the Cascades at Sunset

FREAKY times right now!

Some would say we are heading for a perfect storm!
I would agree, what with the Droughts, Our Food Supplies, our Crumbling Infrastructure (is that a metaphor?)...

The rising tide of heroin addictions that are responding to our health care systems & lifestyles!

Are These Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Taking Responsibility for the addictions that are arising from their products?

Or Should We, the Consumer,
Shy Away from these Drugs, If We Can

I have my own opinions about that, but I believe you have got to get healthy now because whatever is coming, you're gonna need your strength.

There is a change coming in our universe &
You need to get your

ANY WAY YOU CAN!

I Really Do
You Can See Everyone is talking about the Importance of Antioxidants, and most people could get them at the market, if they try, but as Washington Irving said,

Great minds have purposes, others have wishes

The Good News is, as a Health & Fitness Coach I've found that simply tapping in to a high antioxidant source that works for you will radically improve your overall health.

I want the Best Bang for My Buck!

I do Healthy Chocolate because everyone loves chocolate,
and I'm willing to indulge in my own products.

Antioxidants neutralize Free Radicals (pollutants) that ravage
our red blood cells, causing necrosis and disease.
The ORAC score of an food explains the
Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity
which states How Much It Can Absorb
and restore your body, on a cellular level.

The reason this is important is - we need to fortify ourselves against the prevalent medications that people are routinely taking, so we $eek Medical Help less as we age.

The healthier you are,  the easier it is to stay away from another illness

You can get antioxidants from many sources but,

Remember - Convenience is King!
Get yourself a treat!
Hard times are Out There &
You Might Need to Be Strong
Do Your Civic Duty and Get Protected by AntiOxidants
